change the world and leave your legacy

“I am a leadership & social media mentor! My mission is to empower more BIPOC & Queer creatives to grow online communities to change the world for the better & leave their legacies,” Tasia confirms.

Reflecting on the relationship between her work and her identity, Tasia confirms, “My work challenges the narrative about my identity because, in the coaching space, there aren’t a lot of BIPOC AND QUEER coaches. The coaching industry is filled with people who do not look like me and often when I join coaching programs or find other coaches, I have to explain how my identity, the things that I deal with on the day-to-day (racism, microaggressions, etc.) impact me/my content and they fully don’t understand.”

take risks and pursue your dreams

“Therefore, I want to show other BIPOC & Queer creators that it is possible for them to take RISKS and pursue their dreams along side their 9-5 so there is more representation in the coaching space and the content creation space,” she reminds us.

“As BIPOC and Queer folks, we were taught to stay small, don’t take risks…but that feeds directly to what White Supremacy wants. I am a smart, talented, and creative Black and Queer woman and deserve to be seen and heard. So do others.”

do the scary thing

“My advice: do the scary thing + believe in yourself. If it’s investing in a coach, mentor, etc. DO THAT. The empowerment and accountability are priceless and what you learn stays with you forever” Tasia encourages. “Comparing your creations to others won’t make your creations better, so support other people, but have tunnel vision on what YOUR personal legacy is and how you are going to get there. The creations you make will change your & others’ lives.”
